Our Story
Peterson Mill Schoolhouse was built in the 1880s — a one-room school where children from surrounding farms walked miles to learn. For over a century it stood, then fell quiet.
We restored it carefully — preserving the original heart pine floors, the heavy timber frames, the way light falls through the tall windows the way it always has. What you get is not a themed hotel. It is the actual thing: a real building, in a real place, asking you to slow down.
There is no WiFi in the Bell Tower. The kitchen is simple. The coffee is good. The silence is not.
